Today, is the day that I have decided to start a personal journey of growth and change.  Oftentimes I utter words without realizing the implications that they have upon other people.  I do not mean to offend and demean, yet that is what often happens without intention.  I am confident in myself and this confidence often missteps in the direction of arrogance.  Arrogance in my opinion not only makes you look ridiculous but demeans people around you.  This is a travesty for me personally since I hate the portion of American society that relies on putting others down, whether this is for humor or some other motivation.  I'm now seeking to promote authentic positivity through the world and the first place is to start with myself.  I only hope that this journey of self discovery allows me to spread cheer and good tidings to all mankind.
